In November 2019 a BLCS consultant travelled to Bahrain for a rig move observation of Ensign R601 after BLCS international had received a written assignment to make a rig move manual.
During the observation, all steps of disassembly and assembly are documented and photographed as much as possible in order to make a thorough rig move manual with detailed information for (the) assembly of the drilling installation.
In addition to the detailed information for (dis)assembly, the manual also includes hoisting plans, transport list, risk inventory and general information that is important for a rig move.
The complete manual was delivered after satisfaction of the client in the first quarter of 2020.
